About Us

Kayla Benda started Oh, Hello Co. in 2014. Originally a greeting card company, Oh, Hello quickly expanded into the planner sticker and stationery world. Using the artwork her husband Alex Benda designed for weekly releases, the couple created a vast collection of custom planner and home goods. From 2016-2020 the Bendas presented workshops at a number of different planner conferences across the United States and continue to share trade secrets on running a successful business. 

In January 2020 the couple opened Oh, Hello Paper & Gifts, a card and gift shop in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Oh, Hello brick and mortar focuses on supporting fellow small businesses, and today boasts over 80+ local artists and vendors. 

Oh, Hello’s sister store Courage & Soar opened right next door in April 2022. Featuring more local artists and vendors as well as embroidered clothing designed in house, C&S has size-inclusive clothing and an ever-changing variety of home goods. 

Kayla now works for the Digital Marketing team at Ferris State University while Alex works as a Business Consultant at the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce.

In her free time, Kayla continues her 14+ year passion of creating videos on her YouTube channel, Oh, Hello Living.
